Usage of English to teach about holidays in other countries

These Websites use the English lenguage to communicate the information that they want to share. I can tell that this use have a "Globalizing reason", people want that everyone receive the information and English is the  most spoken lenguage and its use permits that everyone, or the majority, have an access of this report.
Now, i liked two of the four Websites publised: Indian Holy Festival and Guatemala Holy Week. What catch my attention was the use and importance of the colours, i like the idea that colours means hapiness and these colours can cheer up someone´s day.
